There is only 1 month until I leave for Texas. There is a lot to do in the next month, but I am very excited.
This week we have the first of my 2 events. We will be hosting a 3-course dinner where I will talk more about Mercy Ships and exactly what I will be doing over the next 2 years. So the next 2 weeks will be very busy.
I am starting to organise my bags and pull together everything that I will need to take. It is going to be hard to get everything into only 2 bags that are under 23kg. I’ve got a little bit more study that needs to be completed before I get to Texas. So I am working hard on getting through those books.
I’ve also found out a little bit about the units that I will be teaching. Some of them are studying texts I haven’t read or seen before. I want to try and get some of them read before I go so I will be familiar and able to start planning.
All in all a very busy but exciting month ahead. Definitely on the countdown now.
